Fellowship
The John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John’s Health Center is one of the most comprehensive centers for advanced training in surgical oncology in the United States. Its two-year fellowship includes intensive clinical training in GI techniques that range from laparoscopic adrenalectomy and laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy, to Whipple procedures and a full complement of ablative techniques.
Fellows also undertake translational research that links laboratory findings to clinical applications. The Institute is one of only 18 centers approved as a facility for advanced training in surgical oncology by the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO). For additional information visit www.jwci.org.
